I have a fairly complex setup with ACF Pro, Elementor, a membershipt-plugin and Search and Filter PRO. All plugins have a specific task. Unfortunately I have a problem that arises between the individual plugins.
I have gone through plugin by plugin and now the only thing missing is yours. Since you directly “create” the filter, I would like to know from you if you use the standard hooks and functions of wordpress? Apparently that’s the problem: Some plugin does not use that 🙂

Good evening, I just bought your plugin I used it I created the filters and then I integrated the shortecode on the page (Elementor) the filter works well it displays the categories that I ask it but when I click on a category it displays that there is no product for the selection knowing that I deactivate the plugin and when I reloaded the page the product was displayed well. Can you please help me solve the problem .
I work with a premium template called Billey.
You can see the problem with those images
As you are using Elementor Pro, did you use our extension for Elementor Pro, which can be installed after clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page (to download the installation file):

The guide covers many different use cases, so please read it carefully.

The thread can be closed, Issue was resolved by adjusting the correct display settings.
BIG THANKs to Trevor, We got on a call, while the whole site was in a foreign language, Trevor listened to my story and my set up with Elementor and Archives, asked a few questions while analyzing the whole thing on the go, and in less than a few minutes he guided me thought the settings and everything was resolved!
I’m very grateful for the quick response and the patience, Thank you very much again!
The plugin works perfectly now and I also removed the demo version.
Have a great day!

Working on a business directory and I am using Search and Filter for the search queries and category filtering.
Whenever I attempt to use the Search bar or the filtered categories option, the request is received and the displayed results change, but the new results pertaining to my chosen filter or search query aren’t being displayed. It is only after I refresh the page, that I can see the results of my request.
I am using Elementor to display the Posts library, and I know that the two plugins are compatible so this is puzzling to me. There is a third plugin involved (formidable forms), but it only processes form submissions and creates categorized posts from the received inputs.
What can I do to remedy this?

This likely means that, somewhere, something, likely the taxonomies or custom fields, are not translated properly. A translated site is very complex and difficult to set up. As a consequence, it is the very first thing you should do, before any significant content is added. The same applies with our search forms. It is very difficult to find where the issue actually is. Elementor also more complexity, as it has to be handled correctly to work with WPML:
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/
You may need to set up a test site, with minimal plugins (just WPML, Elementor Free & Pro, Search and Filter) and test that with a few test posts added after those are setup.

Hey Trevor,
I’ve followed all the instructions as above but there are few odd things.
I installed the Elementor Plugin, but it made the ACF marking to disappear from the Post Meta, I no longer have that tick. Later on, I enabled the extension, and the result remains the same.
1. Redirects me to another page and not applying the filter on the Archive page. – doesn’t run the filter on the archive page, but redirect me to another page, and when I type in a custom URL, It doesn’t work. – in the guide, it states, Instal the extension, change the setting and it should work (Since I want this on archive pages), and the result is different from what stated there before it was trying to filter on the archive page, now it redirects me to the main page with broken jquery HTML drawing attempts.
2. The filters are still not active and are displaying to me all of the posts.
3. I’ve used the correct ACF field for the meta, but the results are the same, have you read all of the above I mentioned and my comparison to the DEMO version and the paid one I’m using now? The Demo worked Perfectly, and all the Taxamonies were responding. the PRO version is responding to only the FIRST taxonomy and ignores the rest. P.S, I used the Demo plugin without the WP Elementor Extention.
Furthermore, as I advised previously, right now I’m having the Demo version running as it’s working better than the PRO at the moment. if you can/have chance to test it, we can go live and I will be happily to apply all the changes you might suggest and show the WP backed and Front-End set up.
Hi Denis
The Pro plugin is far more sophisticated and needs the search strings for now.
If you are using Elementor Pro, did you use our extension for Elementor Pro, which can be installed after clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page (to download the installation file):
https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/
The guide covers many different use cases, so please read it carefully.
Note that, with fields made by ACF, when selecting the meta key, note a ‘gotcha’ with ACF ….
… it makes 3 meta keys per field, like this (in this example for a field named ‘land’):
#1 _land
#2 field_52f0fc4334f52
#3 land
In our Meta Key selection list, you need to use key #3, without the underscore at the start of the key name. If you choose #1 by mistake, in the field choices you will see the name of #2.
The fields will only show in the list if you have actually entered data in those fields inside posts and saved them. To define them alone without doing that, they will not show up, as our plugin does not look at the Field Group definitions, but at the actual data stored in the Post Meta table.
You should not be using that shortcode, as it is no longer required when using our Elementor extension. I wonder if you have used the old (now obsolete) integration method?
Do check the guide I linked to and follow that step by step to make sure all is OK, as there are many differences between the old and new method (one of which is to no longer use that shortcode).
Yes, having downloaded the extension, you need to install it in WordPress. It will then give you additional options in our form settings, and also in the widgets in Elementor, so the form and results can be linked, which is what the guide instructs you on.
