Update Failed: Download failed. Too many redirects

I’m trying to update Search & Filter Pro from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4 in WP Admin but I’m getting:

“Update Failed: Download failed. Too many redirects”

Can you advise?

At the moment some users are experiencing this issue because we moved domain. Assuming that you had correctly activated the license on that domain, and the update failed as you say, do you have a Windows based server? If you DO have a Windows server (unlikely, as most use Apache), you will need this plugin installed to overcome a bug with that server software:

Otherwise, if your current version is 2.3.2 or later, then the advice in this thread should work for you:

We are working on fixing it, but they may take a while. It will not affect updates once you have updated to v2.4.4.

I’ve got an activated licence and am hosted on Apache.

I followed the advice to delete the plugin and manually re-install the latest version. The search settings were preserved, no issues.
