Assuming that you had correctly activated the license on that domain, and the update failed as you say, do you have a Windows based server? If you DO have a Windows server, you will need this plugin installed to overcome a bug with that server software:

Otherwise, if your current version is 2.3.2 or later, then the advice in this thread should work for you:

I installed the fix-windows plugin, no luck. I have version 2.3.4 installed. I will try the manual update, but before I do, is there any issue with the domain authorization being a subdomain? It’s displaying as: accredited.factwebsite.org/ (should it have the http:// in front in the display? Ie, is it incomplete?)
