Field relationship "OR" doesn't work anymore(Private) March 23, 2016 at 9:57 am #40338Hi Jean-Philippe
Is it possible for me to take a look in the admin of the site? Reply to this message, but at the bottom make the reply private, with the login url, user and password?

With no search terms, the page is empty also, yes?
Which Display Results method you you have (Archive, Shortcode …)?
If this is a purpose made page for results, does the theme need to know it is for a specific Custom Post Type?

Conditional Logic(Private) March 23, 2016 at 8:01 am #40326OTOH, if you mean, can you change which controls show based on options picked, this is not currently possible. My bad if I had misunderstood your question. I do not know if it is even possible or practicable.

Problem to display the form correctly(Private) March 23, 2016 at 7:47 am #40325Hi Philippe
I am picking this up, as it seems more something I can help with. In general, what you want CAN be done, with Custom CSS. Does you theme have a Custom CSS function, or do you have a plugin for this (such as Simple Custom CSS).
Whilst it can be done using floats, it would be better to use FlexBox, but to maintain backwards compatibility with Internet Explorer 8 and 9 users, this means having to load a compatibility javascript. In turn, this would require that the theme be set up as a child theme, so that you can add custom assets with theme updates overwriting them.
There are plenty of guides and explanations on how to do this (I ALWAYS make my themes into child themes), and a quick Google search will find many tutorials, but this is a good one to watch:

Let me know what you wish to do?

I am hoping this answer is right (Ross may chime in to confirm).
The first thing is that the search form needs to be on the results page, and this (I think) means that you must be using (and the theme must be capable of being used with) the shortcode ‘Display results’ method.
You would need to set the form to update as the user makes selections (General Settings Tab -> Auto Submit Form to checked [on]).
Then, in the search form, in each element where there are likely to be options for the user to choose, make sure that ‘Hide Empty’ is checked [on].
It may also help, on the Display Results settings tab, to have ‘Load results using Ajax’ checked [on], IF your theme supports it (it will be obvious when the user interacts with the form, the results will fade and reappear.

Change Background and Button Colors?(Private) March 22, 2016 at 8:24 pm #40285Anyway, it is the error in the css that I said was there. You may not be able to see it, but believe me, it is there. That greater than symbol needs deleting and re-typing in. If you view the page source (the raw html) you will see what I mean.

Search results problems(Private) March 22, 2016 at 7:08 pm #40266It probably didn’t work for 2016 as it would need to be configured very differently. I may have to pass this over to Ross, I will let you know.
