To my tired eyes the code LOOKS right, but on the page linked in the private post a couple of posts ago, there are many forms:

Anyway. I have copied directly from the page’s source HTML and the custom css has MANY errors, any of which could be causing this. How are you entering the Custom CSS? Is it a function in the theme or a plugin, or what? I can clean it all up and put it into a dropbox file if you wish?

This Custom CSS should work:

#search-filter-form-6781 .sf-field-search {padding-top: 0px !important;}

I used Firefox with the Firebug add-on to analyse the page to construct this answer.

The reset button isn’t a back button as such, as it does not know which page the search came from (assuming that the results page is not the search page), for example, you could have the search in the header of every page. What is does is set each field to all values and reloads the results page.

It rather depends what the search is. For example, let us say I was searching categories for a post type, each button representing a different category, then there is only one search field; category, and all you are doing is setting one field in a single form. It might be easier to discuss this, if you are OK with speaking English, over skype. I will send a second message marked as private with my details.

OK, I have put AND back. Now check? The issue is with the Enable Auto Count. It works OK on sites with a small number of posts, but it runs multiple queries and with large numbers of posts (and your site has a LOT) the server will time out, on most occasions giving you no results in the list of categories.
