What did you set for the Enter the filename of the custom template setting on the Display Results tab?

The method you have chosen will normally go to the theme’s generic search page, and not stay on the page that you are on. The page sample you showed is a single post page? I think that regardless of which display results method you choose, it will send the search to another page, as results must show on an archive (multi-post) page of some sort.

OK, I understand. The standard install of EDD and S&F assumes just one shop page with one filter, but that would not appear to suit your purposes. I will ping Ross so he can take a look and think on this. I think it would require that you have different shop pages (templates) for different category/custom taxonomies, which is the first problem you need to resolve.

Does your theme allow this? If not, I do know of a plugin that claims to do this, but I do NOT know if this does what you need, and that plugin is called WordPress Custom Taxonomy & Category Pages. What I do not know is if that will do what you want, and whether Search & Filter Pro can then handle this (but it should because this other plugin will give you different urls to use, and that is all S&F needs to have different searches in use). I cannot endorse this plugin as I have not used it myself. Again, Ross may know better/more.

Ah, now I see. You will have to download the file from s from Your Account and use the ftp method. As long as you do not delete the S&F plugin from the plugins page in your WP admin, the settings will be retained (but I would make a full backup before proceeding).

Do you receive an error message, or what indication do you get that it has failed to install?

If you switch WP_DEBUG to true (in the wp-config.php file in your web server WordPress folder it is set as false by default), do you see any error messages?

Do the catalogs have the same layout ([downloads columns=3 number=18]) and is it a custom taxonomy that has either 3d illustrations or 2d illustrations?
