Do you want to add a text search to the form, or a separate search text box (which would potentially mean two forms on one page)?

This will change with V3 (due in a few months), but, for now, when referring to the results page, having a cloned/duplicated form (having more than one instance of the same form), or multiple different forms, will potentially be an issue, as doing this can mean that they don’t work together and often will conflict with each other. Just be aware that this is possible (likely), so if you have problems with the results not working, that might be why. Normally, we suggest only one form instance on the results page.

You CAN have more than one form on any page other than the results page.

What V3 will also bring is the ability to have a form on the page, but split it up to different parts of the page.

I looked at both pages, and they both use form #4261

In our plugin, used with WPML, the form must be translated using WPML, so, editing that form in WP Admin, this + button:

once translated, you may need to edit the form and make sure all the settings are correct (fields, and settings within fields) for the new language.

The Results URL will be different also, see the note about the Shortcode method at the foot of this documentation page:

Note, if you are using the Shortcode method and a customised results.php template, the template may need to change (to translate some strings for example), and as each form has its own ID, use the numbering method described almost at the end of this documentation page:

Before I reply, can I ask if you saw that we have a new support ticket system, which you would find here:

I was wondering if you tried that, and whether you had any difficulty with it?

These support forums will be closing to new tickets on the 8th February 2021 (that’s after this weekend) – existing tickets will be closed after a month.

Did you also upgrade WordPress around the same time? I ask because WordPress (and therefore our plugin) now uses jQuery 3.5.1, whereas before it was using jQuery 1.12.4

The two versions of jQuery are not always compatible, and so code that worked with one may not work with the other.

There have been changes and bug fixes between the two, and, more importantly, major changes to WordPress, which has forced some changes to the way our plugin works. I will wait to hear from you.
