Hello,
I opened a ticket last week (#244732) regarding a range slider function that was not working properly. The problem is not solved yet. If I go to: https://kwo-villa.com/en/all-accommodations/ you will see:
– when the number of guests is at default (1-13) all villas are shown.
– if I take Casa Kümpel for example, which can handle 6 guests:
– If I set the range slider to 1-6, Casa Kümpel disappears again.
– If I set the range slider to 1-7, it re-appears.
– If I set the range slider to 6-8, Casa Kümpel disappears again.
– If I set the range slider to 5-8, it re-appears.
It seems to me that the results are only shown that fall WITHIN the selected range, excluding the numbers that are displayed (so 5-8 actually shows 6-7). That ofcourse does not make sense to the visitor. It should show 5-8.
– I thought this was set up properly, but apparently it is not. Can you please have a look at the settings and tell me what is wrong with them?
– I created account details for you in last weeks ticket (#244732), those are still active.
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Just to let you know I am looking at this now.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) June 2, 2020 at 1:28 pm #246922Hi Ross,
thanks for looking into the problem.Actually, what we do:
– we set the occupancy in the max occupancy field. This is also where the accom_max_occupancy filter looks.
– we set the amnity_people also for the maximum number of guests. But that field is only used to show the maximum number of guests allowed on the single accommodation page on the front-end.If you are looking at any accommodation in the back-end, you will not see the max-occupancy field, unless you set the language at the top to Dutch, which is the default language. For some reason, the field does not show up on translations, but the information is still carried over to the English and German translations, so that is not a problem.
If you want to be sure you see everything properly, look at the Dutch pages on front-end and back-end.
There (backend set to Dutch) you will see the max-occupancy field in the right sidebar of every accommodation. And you will see that the search filter behaves the way I described.
If it’s not clear to you, please let me know and I will explain further.
Kind regards,
BorisRegards,

no, sorry that is not it. If you go to the accommodations page https://kwo-villa.com/alle-accommodaties/, pleae try these settings:
– when the number of guests is at default (1-13) all villas are shown.
– if I take Casa Kümpel for example, which can handle 6 guests:
– If I set the range slider to 1-6, Casa Kümpel disappears.
– If I set the range slider to 1-7, it re-appears.
– If I set the range slider to 6-8, Casa Kümpel disappears again.
– If I set the range slider to 5-8, it re-appears.

I’m not seeing what you are seeing, when setting 1-6, Casa Kumpel is present:
https://kwo-villa.com/alle-accommodaties/?_sfm_accom_min_occupancy=1+6
See this gif:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/18LKU8qb6kNgz-C9RiHyBlziKlqrpSTYr/view?usp=sharingAnway, I think there is some confusion – lets take this back a step.
For now, lets work on the dutch language only and get that working exactly as we want.
For my understanding, when you use the range slider what do you expect to happen?
So accomodation can have a min / max number of people.
Lets say an accomation (Property A) has min 2 people, and max 5 people.
What is expected behaviour in the following scenarios:
1) The range slider is set to
1 - 6
?
It shows the property?2) If it is set to
3 - 4
?
It shows hte property?3) If it is set to
2 - 2
?
It show’s the property?4) If it is set to
7 - 8
?
It doesn’t show the property?Let me know on the above, just so I have a clear undestanding what we are working with! And also, if you are seeing the same thing as me in the GIF?
Thanks
