Hi, I’m using the S&F pro form via the widget in the left hand column of my Woo product list page, and want to retain the same page for the results if possible? Currently it lists the results on the /shop/ page which isn’t ideal.
Many thanks
MikeHello,
I use the WooCommerce Catalog Visibility plugin to hide certain product categories from users who are not logged in to comply with state regulations on a certain controlled product. I like Search & Filter, but I noticed that when I use it, items in categories that are set to be hidden to logged out users are not visible in search results to logged in users. The product category is not visible in the Search & Filter search form either.
It appears that the WooCommerce Product Search plugin handles this well, but it is far from being as robust as Search & Filter. I would like to move back to Search & Filter (I have two paid licenses), but would definitely need this to work as I expect it to in order to use Search & Filter again.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Hi,
I am trying to filter products with a woocommerce wordpress shop.
Search & Filter Pro works well with shortcode selection in the Display Results setting of the pluging.
I did not manage to get it to work when selecting custom results mode and entering a URL.
After selecting custom results mode and entering a URL I did not see anything happens after selecting filter . With shortcode selection in the results setting it worked well.In addition I did not mangeded to get it to work with elemntor – probably from the same reason.
Hi there,
Iam trying to use the pro plugin on an WooCommerce site, but I got problems regarding the search results.
It seems the problem has to do with the WooCommerce setting “Category display” which is set to “Show subcategories”.
We have a big taxonomy structure and are using multiple levels of subcategories. We need this setup.
On every archive page the search form is visible.
If I enter some search word in the text input box and click on search/filter, the page seems to just “reload”. I dont see any results, just the same archive page gets loaded again.
The search and filtering only works in the final/last subcategory, but not in any parent category.
Iam using “Display results method: WooCommerce Shop”, but also tried other options incl. the shortcode option. I also tried changing ajax-results and all other options.
I also tried to active “Force is_archive to always be true?” or “Force is_search to always be true?”, but than the frontend is not loading anymore and I get a timeout.
Iam using the GeneratPress Theme.
Is there something I can do about this behaviour? As said above, we need the category structure as they are now. I didnt find anything in the documentation about this, but maybe I just missed it.
I want to avoid building an own template, I thought I could just use the “WooCommerce Shop” results option. I than have to rebuild the normal WooCommerce archive page as a result template.
I can provide access to the site in question if needed!
Thanks in advanced,
MoritzHello,
My name is Raul E. Lopez Yazdani. I am currently designing woocommerce site for a car dealer in Argentina. I am having a lot of trouble with the Search and Filter Pro plugin. I have spent hours trying to find a way to be able to design the form. Firstly, I was having some issues with the mutli-select options. I had pressed the “Choose 2” option in the plugin settings but every time I would click an option in the search, it would direct me to the search result page. I would also know how I can change the colors and fonts of the search form and be able to assign a specific page for my search results. I would greatly appreciate some help.
