I solved the issue with the horizontal align with css. Now my problem is the results page, as mentioned above. I cannot see all of my posts when clicking and searching a specific category (abilities/spells,minions,weapons) through the checkbox.

The way I would like the “search and filter” form to look is to have search, categories and tabs, in 3 different columns (horizontal display. Sorry for the mistype above).

My main problem right now is that the results are not showing. They are much less that they should be, considering the amount of posts each category has (abilities/spells , minions, weapons). I changed the search-filter.php as it says on the faq and now I see some results (previously I saw nothing), but I believe that the query issue is not solved. You can check this by clicking one of the checkboxes (abilities/spells, minions), on this page http://hearthstonepuzzles.net/fan-creations-test-page/ and press submit. I can give you any credentials you need through my e-mail.

Show me the page where this is being used and a screenshot of roughly how it needs to look, and I will write the code.

If you have no means of placing custom css in the theme, use the really Simple Custom CSS plugin.

Just to update. I managed to get the results to display. My problem now is that the search box, category checkbox and tag checkbox are displayed in the vertically and not horizontally. Any help would be appreciated.

The layout of my widget is completely messed up. The taxonomy checkboxes are aligned horizontally in the center of the widget instead of along the left margin.

Oh and did you delete the code for the horizontal forms from my CSS? 🙂 I wanted to have them all in the horizontal way, because my thumbnails are really wide and I can’t have them in a sidebar.

You will need to add Custom CSS to your theme. There are MANY posts with sample CSS snippets that different users have found worked for them. The key search term is horizontal:

A. You will need some custom css to make it horizontal. If you search this forum for the word horizontal you will some examples. Be wary of what it looks like in responsive modes.

A. You must have the option Auto submit form? unchecked.

A. This depends on your theme and the display results method you choose. You have chosen ‘As an Archive’, so you must edit the search.php template and add a shortcode to add the search form to the page, such as <?php echo do_shortcode('searchandfilter id="414"');?>
