Yes, featured image and title are the minimum, perhaps some meta data later.

I will look at the solution you are suggesting. I just started to format it in Elementor, could there be a way in that as well, or could the above work with Elementor as well?

What I think you should be doing is to create a real page in WordPress, then use Elementor to edit it. Instead, I think you went to the Theme Builder to do this?

This is because you cannot place html in that message, as it can lead to to security issues. We have asked Elementor if they can support this feature, but we are waiting for them. There is not a lot we can do in the meantime, sorry.

The form, at the bottom, is set to use the shortcode method (which is wrong). Are you using our extension for Elementor Pro, which can be installed after clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page (to download the installation file):

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/

The guide covers many different use cases, so please read it carefully.

I think I can see why. You are using our old method to integrate with Elementor Pro, which uses the ‘Custom’ display results method and some custom JavaScript. You will need to remove that JavaScript, and the filter_next_query shortcode from the page, and change the display results method to a new one.

Instead you now need to use our extension for Elementor Pro, which can be installed after clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page (to download the installation file):

    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/elementor/

And then follow the instructions carefully, as it requires changes to the form AND the Elementor Posts widget setup.

Wow! Just discovered this integration with elementor!
I did not have this plugin installed. Only the Search and Filter Pro
    really nice!
Unfortunately I cannot test it on my staging website.
The Search Form widget is locked.

    Hi Trevor,

Thanks for your reply. I need to display the results on the same page, but I also have Elementor installed (since the plugin also works with elementor). I saw that you are using a separate extra plugin to make things easier, but I can’t quite get that working either. Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong here? (see bottom of page)

    Thanks a lot!

Its the same widget you are used to from Elementor, either the “Posts” or “Portfolio” or “Products” widgets

We modified them so you can select our query in there.

    Thanks

Hi. I’m working on creating a page in Elementor where the user can filter between different categories and different brands. I have all the different filters in place, however I want to display the brand-filter in a different way to the product-filter.

I created one search form that contains both the brand- and the productfilter, and I am using two widgets and hiding the selectors that I dont need via css. However, now I would like it so that if a user searches for a brand (widget Y), only the products that correspond to the selected brand will show up in widget Y.

For example, if the user wants search for only “Apple” products, he or she presses that filter. Now, all products that dont correspond to this should be hidden in widget. I tried playing around with the different search operators but I cant seem to make it work.

Any suggestioons? I understand if I’m trying to create something impossible here and I don’t want you to waste your time. If it doesn’t work you don’t need to waste your time explaining wby. I will post my page down below in a private reply

I think that the first thing I would do is to switch from using our Shortcode method (unless you specifically need to use it), and instead use our extension for Elementor Pro, which can be installed after clicking the big blue button (you need to be logged in to see it) at the top of the guide page (to download the installation file):
