Assuming that you had correctly activated the license on that domain, and the update failed as you say, do you have a Windows based server? If you DO have a Windows server (unlikely, as most use Apache), you will need this plugin installed to overcome a bug with that server software:

Otherwise, if your current version is 2.3.2 or later, then the advice in this thread should work for you:

Anonymous(Private) July 13, 2018 at 5:26 pm #182528My server is Apache, i have done as you suggested in the link and deleted the plugin. installed v2.4.3 again and let WP search for updates. Update v2.4.4 is found but when trying to update i get the same error Download failed. Too many redirects
I know i could manually update but i don’t want to either keep deleting the plugin or FTP into my site just to update, i should be able to press the update button in WP just like with every other plugin.
