When trying to update plugin through WordPress Admin panel i get the following error:

An error occurred while updating Search & Filter Pro: Download failed. Too many redirects

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Assuming that you had correctly activated the license on that domain, and the update failed as you say, do you have a Windows based server? If you DO have a Windows server (unlikely, as most use Apache), you will need this plugin installed to overcome a bug with that server software:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/fix-windows-compatibility/

Otherwise, if your current version is 2.3.2 or later, then the advice in this thread should work for you:

Or, if your current version is 2.3.1 or earlier see this post:

My server is Apache, i have done as you suggested in the link and deleted the plugin. installed v2.4.3 again and let WP search for updates. Update v2.4.4 is found but when trying to update i get the same error Download failed. Too many redirects

I know i could manually update but i don’t want to either keep deleting the plugin or FTP into my site just to update, i should be able to press the update button in WP just like with every other plugin.

The issue may have arisen because we have changed domains, which is why you should install this new 2.4.4 version directly using ftp, and not try to install 2.4.3 and then update.

I just realized those posts I pointed you to said use 2.4.3, so I have edited them to say 2.4.4 now, sorry about that.
