    Hi,

We have created a website with multiple posttypes and in 3 languages (en, nl & fr)
One of these posttypes is ‘products’. The products are only in english.
In the settings-panel of wpml we’ve selected ‘Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language’.
Now the products should be visible and filterable on the search/archive page in 3 languages
but they only show up in english. The archive page on the other 2 languages are empty.

Are the search forms translated? They must be, even if the products are not. Is it WooCommerce you are using?

Yes, the search forms are translated and connected using te ‘custom’ result page (and wp_query).
No, it’s a custom post type, no woocommerce used.

I see. I think that the products need to be translated, even if they remain in English. The same with the custom field terms. These need to be translated, even if they remain in English. I can see that you have manually added terms to the custom fields controls for the translated forms, but you should not need to do this.

For as long as the products are not translated, and the custom fields/taxonomies remain untranslated (I know that even when translated they will remain in English), only the English form will find content.

I think that is the issue.

It might be best to make a copy site to test this.
