Hello,
I have Woocommerce, WooCommerce Multilingual and WPML installed and I don’t want to use duplication for the products. In the default language it’s ok but not in the others. I have followed your documentations here https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/wpml/ and here https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/woocommerce/?sfref=dc but without success. It works if I deactivate your plugin but I don’t want. Can you help me please ?

Even if I don’t make a search using the form, the products don’t display (ex: a category listing page). There is no way to achieve it ?
Anonymous(Private) September 13, 2018 at 1:53 pm #188319I have also involved the WPML support and they answered me that :
“Hi there,
I have forward the details to our Themes & Plugins Compatibility Team and they will contact the author. Please note that this process may take a while as it depends on how soon the author will reply to our efforts to contact him.
It would be great if you can also contact the author asking him to reply us. You could also refer them to our Go Global program so that we can help them make their theme compatible with WPML. https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ This may help expedite the process.”

I’ve dived into this a bit further.
Essentially the issue is we do not support it (yet). The way our queries work, we have to explicitly set a language, and this means it excludes the default fall back, if the content is not duplicated…
It’s basically a feature we need to build out, but we’re concentrating on v3 of our plugin right now, so this would have to come some time after.
We are in touch with the team at WPML, so I will raise it with them once I get round this.
My recommendation would be, for now, to duplicate the post programmatically into your other languages, something like:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/duplicate-post-programmatically/So the user does not have to do anything when updating their posts…
Then once we support it, I guess you can remove the duplicates.
Thanks
