Way to filter search form dropdowns?

Hello,

I have a question in regards to S&F Pro. I know you can add conditional logic for the results. But is there a way to add conditional logic for the search form fields?

Basically I have 4 dropdowns, no text based search. On one form, I would like to add some conditional logic on what value gets populated in the dropdown.

For example, Lets say I have 3 types of products. On one page, I only want the dropdowns to populate with values that are relevant to the one product type. Instead, it is pulling in all available values for all 3 product types.

I see there is option to manually add, but there are hundreds of possible values I would have to manually add. And since I did use conditional logic for the search results, now it will return no products if one of the values selected is only applicable for one of the other two product types. So it might confuse people. You will see options for something, but would not get any results, when in reality, there are those products, they just belong to the other product types.

In addition to that, I’m also noticing how the dropdowns are getting populated with values from drafts as well as published posts. There are many product post types that are set to draft because they are currently not being produced, but may in the future. Is there a way to exclude data in drafts from populating search form dropdowns?

Forget to mention. The 4 dropdowns I have in my search form are ACF values. And I also only have published selected for Post Status on the Posts tab when editing the form.

Do you have Auto Count enabled AND on the dropdowns do you have Hide empty values enabled?
