Is there a way to have a drop down taxonomy link directly to the page if there’s only one search result? I’m using Taxonomy as names and they link directly to just one page.

A direct answer to your question would be no. However, maybe I can come up with a solution that meets your needs. I would need to be able to see what you are attempting to do, as with most things, some lateral thinking might find a way.

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?

You could, I would guess, use WordPress custom re-writes to do this. I am not so good with this rewrite coding, but another user has asked the same question recently, so when I get an answer, I can show you the same code. This is the other thread:

Hi I’m having trouble having the title of results page showing on the page.. Like if I search Business… how can I show that title on the page above the results?
