    Hi,

I have just purchased search & filter pro and I am trying to do a gallery similar to this. http://www.weathertex.com.au/gallery/ . I need to have multiple filters been applied on the one page. I know this plugin is capable of doing this with each separate posts etc, but I am unsure of how to do it with images. I could do a single image per post but I am looking to add at least 400 images so this is not an option.

Any help would be much appreciated!!.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi and welcome

I am going to ask the critical question, what theme are you using? This affects the route forward more than any other issue.

    Hi Trevor,

Thanks for your speedy reply. I am using this theme by theme forest. http://themeforest.net/item/construction-wp-construction-building-business/10439297

OK, my guess is that using the Shortcode Display method is the route to go.

First, the search form. The standard S&F Pro search form is vertical, but can be made horizontal quite easily using custom css. Search this forum with the keyword horizontal and you will find posts about this.

The shortcode method is documented here:

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/search-results/using-a-shortcode/

Assuming that you able to make a WP Page in your theme, are you able to add the form shortcode to get the form to appear when you browse to that page? (you may have the ability to place the form using the WP Widgets feature, depending on hoe the theme is made (it is not one that am familiar with).

Yes I have managed to display the form using the short code method. My problem is I am trying to create an image gallery. The form finds posts, can I somehow tweak so it can display images in the media section through filters. I have downloaded a plugin so I can add extra categories to media files, which then is seen in the search and filter plugin but I can’t quite get it all working??

Great to speak with you. Get back to me with the outcome or details of login and ftp if we need to take this to the devs.
