Issue:
When I type a second search query and press enter, Prevent Default on the text input / submit is no longer in place, erases my query and shows no results for the query.

This may be because the Results Container field in the form is set incorrectly, where the actual selector name(s) used includes both the form AND the results. I would need to see the search page live to confirm (you can send links privately be checking the Private Reply at the bottom of the editor).
