Hi everyone,
I have one Question.
How can i set the default search option so that it will show an empty page

Hey Hendrick

You can either do two things:

1) create an empty start page with only the search form like:

yoursite.com/startsearch

Then create a separate results page for S&F – eg yoursite.com/searchresults

Then, whenever someone performs a search from the start page, they will be redirected to the results page.

2) Modify your template so that it does not display results if nothing has been selected – you would need to customise your results template (choose your display method):

Then you can use this active query class to detect if anything has been selected by a user:
