The question from the OP related to a conversation (voice) that we had, so I am not sure I have enough detail from you Simon. What are the custom fields, how did you make them (e.g. in ACF?) and what have you tried? Custom fields are Post Meta in form field objects.

Hi Trevor,

Thanks for your answer. Our custom fields have been created from My Content Management Plugin https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/my-content-management/. We created a search (Search and Filter Pro) which is searching through a custom post type with custom post fields (My Content Management). If one search for a title you get results, but for example if you search for Ontario (which is value from the Province Custom Field), you do not get any result.

You are typing the word Ontario into the search field? The search field searches only the main content and title. To also index through custom fields you need to install relevanssi and enable support for this on our advanced tab, and in relevanssi tell it to index all custom fields.
