Sorting by price (whether regular or sale price)

Hi Trevor,

I’ve created the Filter by Price as per the WooCommerce demo (see here), however some products have a sale price, whilst others in the same list do not. Most of the products are ‘Variable’ products, so the price is determined by the prices of the variables.

How can set this up so that products will be correctly filtered based on their actual price, whether that be in sale or a regular price?

Ignore me Trevor, I’ve answered my own question. Seems _price is calculated based on whether or not _sale_price _regular_price exists (see here). So it’s working as intended now that I’m using _price as the meta key 🙂

Hi Chris

There have been some big changes in the way S&F works with variations (released in our next update in the next week) so if you have any issues with filtering variations (attributes other than price I guess) you’ll need to renew and update to latest version.
