On the free version, when the form loads, the blog post that a user is viewing has its category boxes ticked on the search form. I can’t get this working on the Pro version – do I need to set this option manually somewhere? I thought it was what “Detect defaults from current page” referred to but ticking option in that section hasn’t made a difference. Please let me know how I can get this working like the free version.

    Thanks,
    Craig

The “Detect defaults from current page” look at the page (URL/type) to determine what it can then set in the form. It does not look at the post itself to see what terms the post uses.

So, if you have a WooCommerce shop, where you have a product category of ‘shoes’, if you go to the shoes product category archive page, and you have a product category field in the form, it will then detect shoes and pre-select it in the form.

The free version of our plugin (not supported in this forum), works very differently. What you want cannot be done in the Pro version.
