It is likely (but your setup might be different) that Authors would be set up as Users and stored (along with any data relating to those users) in the WordPress User Table, along with User Roles (for security reasons), which our plugin does not access or index. We are looking at this to see if it can be done sometime in the V3 roadmap, but I am not sure of this yet.
