    Hi,

    We would like to search trough our SKU’s. At the moment the S&F Pro search field doesn’t pick up sku numbers. We enabled this for the regular wordpress search (which works) but apparently it isn’t picked up by S&F. Or do we need to cache the results again? (we use variable products)

    Using relevanssi isn’t an options since we have more than 10K products and using relevanssi would create an unnecessary large table in the DB.

    You might try a simpler plugin then, like WP Extended Search, which does not use tables or indices. Mostly, it seems to work with Search and Filter.

    Text searches are not handled by Search & Filter and therefore our tables are not used. We pass text searches off to WordPress to handle (or whichever plugin – like Relevanssi – that you have activated) and we fetch back only matching IDs, which we then subject to any further filtering by our plugin based on options chosen. That is why we recommend Relevanssi.
