    Hey,

    Awesome plugin!

I’m having a problem filtering my search results with the categories or tags I selected. For example, if I choose a specific category, it will display all posts, even those that are not assigned to that category. If I choose one category and tag to refine my results even more, it will still display everything.

So, for example… If I choose the category “Virginia” and tag “Manager Position” I would like to see all the results with just those 2 categories and tags. But what im seeing now is every post and post ID that I included in the search form as a whole.

Just so you know, I have 2 search forms with 2 separate result pages. For these, i’ve excluded the IDs belonging to the other’s search criteria.

Please let me know if you need to see a link to the problem.

    Thanks!

Yup a link would be handy!

How are you displaying your results (what is the results display method)?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Here’s an example (the site is still under development!) >> http://lpmcliving.com/career-search/

Im trying to generate my results from the combination of 2 different criteria or independent from each other, one being a category and the other a tag.. both of which are assigned to each post.

So for instance.. if you choose “Careers in North Carolina” you will see only the posts with that category selected. Or, if you choose the category “Careers in North Carolina” and the tag “Maintenance” it would be great if you see all the maintenance career postings in North Carolina. Or, if you just choose the tag “Maintenance” it would display all the maintenance jobs across all states.

    Hope this makes sense!

I should also say that there is only 4 test career posts so far… all of which are displaying regardless of the selected criteria.

They all have a common category assigned to them which is “All Careers”, Could this be the issue?
