Search page initially shows up as empty page with your search in the sidebar.
The search and ajax refresh works fine after that, but the initial blank page looks dumb.
All I’d like to achieve to have it work like your sample page with the movie reviews.
Initially a long list with everything searchable in it then narrow the results with the dropdowns and checkboxes in th sidebar.
Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look?
If you have a visualization of what it needs to look like, then send me a link to the image (media files cannot be uploaded to this forum)?
Hi Trevor, thanks for the quick response.
This would be the search page:
http://access4you.io/a4y-helyszinek
It’s a custom post type’s content wannabe filtered by taxonomies with your filter.
Filtering works just the page that is intended to be filterted starts as empty.
Quickest way to share with you the desireable look:

My next question will be the shortcode generated results page.
This simple look is defined by the theme’s archive page design. Is it possible to have a results grid with ~three columns, featured image, excerpt via the shortcode method?
Thanks again for your fast answer.
The Results URL in the form is different from the page that this is on?
What is a4y-helyszinek
?
Is it a page, or a taxonomy term, and if it is a taxonomy term, what is the taxonomy?
I was using the Post Type Archive display results method, with search widget in a plain page’s sidebar.
“a4y-helyszinek” is a plain wp page.
Now with the shortcode method on the same page works with ease.
Thanks for your help.
If I can have a feature request that would be a couple of Display Results preset for cases when a theme’s own Archive is not good enough.
But for now: thanks again!
Hi, if you want an improved display of results, using our Post Grid integrations works well as an alternative to the Shortcode method:

It sounds promising, I’ll check it.
Thanks again, you’re Great!
