Hello,

Is/Will be there a way to search by category/taxonomy then once you select a parent?
For example, I have a post-type (parent) “Boats” and some categories/taxonomies like type of boat. I would like search in only one category/taxonomy of post-type.

Is this feature will soon be added to the plugin?
Or, how can I implement this functionality for now?

Hey Pierre, so you would like to se4arch within a specific category/taxonomy, but not allow the user to make a selection (kind of setting a default category to search in)?

For now, we could search in post type :

But, yes, I would like to search in a category (for example by brand, by type, etc.) of a post-type.

Do you understand what I mean ?

I think so, so if you could have a list like the post types, with all categories and select the ones to include (just like post type) then this is what you are wanting? If so this is a feature that will be coming in the near future 🙂
