Hi there, I’m using your plugin for a stock photography site.
https://stockpassport.com
I have a main search on the home page and then a search and filter widget in the sidebar of the results page.
I would like to be able to search and filter within the results without having to repopulate the search text field.
The workflow should go like this;
A user searches form he home page, a results page is displayed, the user filters the results with a radio button (for example) the filter is applied to the existing list of results.
Currently I have to be sure to enter the search term again in the search and filter widget before selecting any radio buttons otherwise I’m doing a fresh search.
Thanks in advance.

I do have the textual search in the sidebar form however it loads unpopulated as does the header form, therefor clicking filter initiates a fresh search each time. Removing the textual search from the sidebar does not change the behavior.
Can you suggest anything else please?
PeteTrevor(Private) April 5, 2017 at 9:57 am #101515Hi Krista. I think I have misunderstood you. On the Home Page main search, is that a Search & Filter Search box or a theme/WordPress one?
If it is a theme/WP search box, it needs to be replaced with a form from Search & Filter. This may require editing a theme file, which I can help you with. It would require that you are using a child theme, so if you are not we will deal with that first.

If I change it though, what then? Won’t I still have the same issue in native S&P search?
thanks
