    Editing a search form after it has been published it breaks the form and converts it to a standard post.

    Our development site is in a sub domain if that has any effect.

    I discovered it was a conflict with this plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/

    Maybe because the post type isn’t public or have an achieve, I’m not sure. But the plugin was written by the developer of Buddypress so of course it will be full of bugs. 😛

    Haha hey mcguffin – yeah there have been a few reports on this… I haven’t used it myself but on their home page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/) it mentions a hook to adjust boundaries – pts_post_type_filter – I guess you should be able to exclude S&F post type from this which is:

    search-filter-widget

    Let me know if you can get it working? I may add this exclude code in a future version of the plugin 🙂
