I discovered it was a conflict with this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/
Maybe because the post type isn’t public or have an achieve, I’m not sure. But the plugin was written by the developer of Buddypress so of course it will be full of bugs. 😛
Haha hey mcguffin – yeah there have been a few reports on this… I haven’t used it myself but on their home page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/) it mentions a hook to adjust boundaries – pts_post_type_filter
– I guess you should be able to exclude S&F post type from this which is:
search-filter-widget
