Return to form with previous choices selected

I have a complex form that uses a number of taxonomies. Search and Filter works well for the initial search. If a client doesn’t like the results they’ve gotten I’d like to return to the search form with their initial choice selected so they can amend the search. Is it possible to set up Search and Filter to do something like that?

Hey there

I’m trying to follow what you are saying.

How would you know what their “initial choice” was – is this just their “last choice” for a particular field?

If I’m missing the idea here perhaps another use case would be useful?
