    Thanks for the response, no, there is only one author and we have relevanssi indexing the author as instructed but the related posts are not appearing.

    In the post it does find, does the name of the author appear other than in the WordPress author field?

    Yes, it pulls in posts where the author is mentioned in a post or in the title, but not when the name is in the author field of WP

    Ah, as I suspected. That means you will need to create a custom field or custom taxonomy to additionally store the author name in, and then make sure Relevanssi is indexing that.

    sorry, posts by author is not a supported search in s&f even with relevanssi?
