Reset not clearing range slider URL parameter

Hi there,

The reset button doesn’t seem to actually “clear” range slider values – it merely sets them to their min and max value. Is there any way I can fix this so the values disappear entirely from the URL and the form is in fact completely cleared?

This also causes “is_filtered” to always return true, which causes an issue for me, as I’m trying to hide specific elements on the page, when the form is filtered.

I am sorry but this is how the plugin is intended to work for now. We plan to change this for the next major release, but that is a few months away yet.

Hi, Was this ever addressed in a follow-up release? I still experience the issue with the latest version and it means that a reset button doesn’t trigger a “no results on page load” using this trick:

That release is still something we are hard at work on, sorry. The alternative is to create a ‘fake’ reset button which is actually a plain link to the page, which will cause the page to reload with no filters. The problem is that other than a plain page reload, any submit of the form will always place default values for all range sliders.
