Hi Trevor,
The live site doesn’t use Woocommerce at all. All of the house designs are posts, which link to Easy Digital downloads products which people can download.
We decided to switch to Woo, hence the staging site. So all the old posts have been converted to Woo products.
The way I saw S&F working was that when people are in the category pages for house designs, they can filter by number of bedrooms, features etc. But these filters would not apply to the non-house design downloads, as these are e-books, brochures etc. So when I first set S&F up on the staging site, I followed the guide to setting it up for Woo.
If we have to stick with the dedicated search page for it to work then so be it, but it would be cool if it worked in the Woo pages as well.
