    Are the categories a Custom Taxonomy (they should be for a Custom Post Type), or the standard Post Categories (it is possible to assign these to a custom post type, but is not recommended)?

    In the form, did you add a Category field or a Taxonomy field?

    A category field – I’ve just tried the Taxonomy field and it looks like it’s working.
