    Hi

Is it possible to make S&F prioritise search results, such that search terms that are found in the post title are displayed higher up in the results than, for example, when the search term occurs in the main body of the post?

I’m having issues with less relevant results appearing at the top of the search results.

For example, I have a post with the term ‘Learning’ in the title. But when I do a search other posts that contain the word ‘leaning’ within the body of the post show up first.

    Happy to provide more info.

Well done on the great plugin.

    Hi Dylan

    Thanks for the kind words.

In regards to your question, S&F does not do this, but it can be achieved by using another plugin, Relevanssi:
    https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/relevanssi/

Relevanssi automatically orders posts by relevance, so integrating it with S&F will achieve this.

Just to note: adding any kind of sorting (we have a “order by” field for example) will override the relevance sorting by Relevanssi.

    I hope that helps 🙂

    Thanks
