Hi – I bought the pro version but I’m having some issues:
Here is my setup:
I created a post archive page using loop method and not custom query. I’m using a custom Divi plugin called CPT Layout Injector to do that . I have created a search form using the Post Type Archive method. For the form, I’m using a sidebar widget to display. My Issues:
1) when I place the search form on the archive page, only two of my posts are showing out of four posts.
2) nothing happens when I apply filters. Also Ajax doesn’t seem to be working. Also…how do I style the search elements?
Please help, as I have a VERY tight deadline!

Trevor(Private) January 14, 2020 at 9:18 am #230981As this is Divi you are using, and it looks like you are using the Divi Post Grid element, you need to use the addon plugin for Divi and the method described here:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/divi-4-templates-blog-module/#post-226630
This will require you to change a few settings in the form also.
It also looks like, in the Search & Filter Settings, you have the Combobox script set to Chosen (which is the default). Change that the Select2.
Any styling of the form must be done with Custom CSS. I have (generally) made some guides in this thread:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/edit-typography-and-button/
(I will be adding some more into that thread during today)
To style the Select2 controlled elements, see this thread:

Anonymous(Private) January 14, 2020 at 2:14 pm #231050Hi Trevor and thanks for the response. The plugin seems to work for the most part, when using the regular Divi Blog Module. However, there are some caveats:
1) I am using a Divi 3rd party plugin (CPT Layout Injector) to display my custom content because I require a certain layout, which the Divi Blog module lacks out of the box. For example, I require a Star Rating for each business in the grid. I am unable to achieve that with the default blog module.
2) When I apply a filter and clears the filter to display all posts, it does not bring back all the results as it does when the page firsts loads. I am only getting back 2 results, like the first issue I had.Anonymous(Private) January 14, 2020 at 2:50 pm #231081Trevor – I want to revert on point number 2. It’s a non-issue. I found that I didn’t assign a business category to the rest of my posts that’s why they were not showing up, plus my setting was set to hide if there were no results.
I also manually added the star rating shortcode to each of the post excerpts in order to display the rating in the grid results, as a workaround. However, it would be unpractical in the long run. I’m wondering if there was anyway to make the plugin work with other Divi grid plugins like CPT Layout Injector so that we don’t have to manually add elements in the layout.

One more thing, the “Search” box is not filtering the posts when I type texts in there. Any reasons why that might occur? https://libac.org/dev/business_directory/
