Post Meta Fields Search Not Working

Hi Ross,

I am using S&F 2.0.3 with Marketify & EDD 2.4.10, and have created a search form that includes custom fields added using FrontEndSubmissions. These custom fields are added as Post Meta fields.

The S&F search works perfectly for the standard downloads category searches, but none of the meta fields works in searches. It returns all downloads if I search using any of meta fields.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Hmmm I’m not sure.

The first thing I would say is to double check you are using the correct meta key.

In some cases you might find 2 meta keys, one with and underscore prefix ie – _yourmetakey.

Then I would check if S&F is seeing the values from the meta key, by choosing the option “auto suggest” under the “choice” tab in your post meta field.
