    Hi,

I set up a search form and all of the filters work, except for the Search-field. It always shows ‘no results’, whatever I try to search.

You can check it here: https://roto-more.com/download-centre/

Other than adding the Search field to the search form, are there other settings that I need to check to get this to work?

    Thanks in advance!

What settings do you have on the Advanced tab of the form setup? Have you selected either (or both) of the first two)?

    Hi Trevor,

    thanks for your reply!

Just checked and nothing was selected. First I selected both, then it gave me results but not the correct results. Then I selected only the first option (Relevanssi) and same: it just showed me both results, even if I did a search for “inowa” where it should only show me one item and not both.

It might be your theme doing this, or any other search improvement plugin. Can you try Relevanssi (which is what those options are for – you have to build their index after setting it up):

Installed Relevanssi and built the index but now it shows ‘no results’ again.

Tried it on another site as well where I’m using your plug-in and same case there: no results when I search for a keyword but correct results when I use any of the other filters.

The site roto-more.com uses Salient theme, the other one uses Divi and I checked: there are no other search plug-ins active.

    Hi Trevor,

sure can. I’ll send it over in a sec but am I right in assuming that the results should (and can) be shown on the same page as where the filters are? That would be this page: https://roto-more.com/download-centre/
I don’t want to redirect users to a new/separate page for the result. So on this page https://roto-more.com/download-centre/ when you search for ‘inowa’ (which is in the name of one of the files) it should only return the Inowa file, and not the other one.
