Hi, I am trying to make a normal search in post categories. I have also added some taxonomies to normal posts. My questions is why the search results display on the home page. Really werid and for some reason when I use ajax, it dont load at all. Maybe because the search query is changed? I dont know. I wounder why the search query is “sfid” and not s? How do I link my search.php in my search form? Can I do the hole link with /wp-content/themes/ etc ?
Hey Fredrick – sfid is the identifier for the search form as you can have multiple forms…
I’ll have a look at your problem tonight.
Thanks
Ross
Hey Fredrik
I just released an update last night which I think will get round your issue.
Try to follow the instructions for shortcode functionality here – http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/#docs-new-ajax
Let me know
Thanks
