    Hi All

I’ve just bought the plugin, impressed so far. Except my first form has two taxonomy drop downs, one for regions and one for venue-types. The second is filtering as it should but the first does not, it just shows all and the value of the drop down keeps reverting back to the first option regardless of what is selected. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi Adrian

I’m guessing both the fields in question are the same (ie, using the same taxonomy)?

    If so please read here:

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/getting-started/adding-new-fields/#Note_Some_Restrictions

And also see the notes below on adding more fields.

If the above is wrong, please provide a link and I’ll take a look.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross

Thanks for the quick reply, no they are using different taxonomies in the same post type. Post type is locations and taxonomy is venue type and second is regions.

The page this is on is here: http://212.18.228.133/~devs/indigo-wine/find-our-wines/

It’s example content but for the purpose of testing, one post is a retailer in south west and the other is a restaurant in midlands. You’ll see the Regions drop down is fine but the top venue types one doesn’t function properly.

    Thanks, Adrian

I see the problem, the name of your taxonomy venue type is “venue type” – it has a space in it.

I think the internal taxonomy names should not contain spaces, of course their labels can be anything but the internal name/slug should not not have this.

Can you try renaming or creating a new taxonomy?

    Thanks
