    Hi, I have a field updated_on that I’d like to sort my posts by but no matter what I do it seems to not work. The field is currently a date field and looks like this (for ex.): 2017-12-04 14:43:50

    How do dates need to be formatted for this to work correctly; eg have them be ascending/descending? Will follow up with more info as I can’t hide info on initial post. Thanks

    Dates need to be date only, not date/time, and in the format YYYYMMDD (in ACF, this is normally the Ymd format). Dates in the format you have suggested that field is using will not work.
