    Hi

    I have a staging site and a live site but I wanted to make sure IDs for the Search and Filter shortcodes remain the same.

    When you create a new one in the back-end it assigns the ID randomly and automatically which means one of my S&F have two different IDs which means it is hard to test on the dev site before moving it over to the live one.

    Is there a way of changing the ID that is generated or another short code which allows you to use the name or something?

    Hey Luke

    I’m afraid not for now.

    S&F forms are a custom post type, so this ID is managed/generated by WP.

    I’m looking to add an option whereby you can use a name / slug in the shortcodes, so that the ID no longer matters – which would make importing/exporting a breeze.

    This will hopefully be in the next few weeks.
