Make filters update to not show combinations that will result in no posts?

Hi there,

If I have multiple filters on posts “Category” and “Tags”

If I select “Cateogry A” from the filter it shows me posts in “Category A”.

I then want the second filter for tags to have rejigged itself to only show tags which will have a result.

So there is no point in showing “Tag A” AND “Tag B” on the filter if “Category A” only has posts containing “Tag A”

Is there anyway to achieve this?

This should do what you want:

Make sure that Maintain Search Form State is set to OFF (unless you need it on)
Set Auto Count (both settings) to ON
In each field set Hide Empty to ON
