I just updated the plugin and got a message that said the tables were missing and had to be created. When I clicked on it the page went blank. None of the filters I set up are working. Each page now says no results found. How do I get support on this plugin?
    Thanks.

You’ve come to the right place Kirk!

Ok, so the fact it says the tables are missing is the first step.

Since 2.0, there is now a cache, used to speed up queries and allow for more advanced search behaviour.

Did you read the upgrade notes here:

    http://www.designsandcode.com/documentation/search-filter-pro/2-0-upgrade-notes/

Deactivating, and activating again usually fixes the tables issue.

Try that, and the tips at the link and let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,
Thank you for the quick response to my question. Unfortunately disabling the plugin and re-activating it did not fix the problem. I read the update notes but there were no additional suggestions that I saw which could help my issue. Do you offer any type of technical support?
    Thanks,
    Kirk

    Hi Kirk.

Yes technical support is offered through these forums.

Ok, so the issue you are having is the databases.

When you goto the S&F page in the admin, do you still see the error about the tables not being created?

There could be an issue with permissions in your setup that is causing the tables for S&F not to be built.

We use thestandard DBDelta function from the WP API – https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_Tables_with_Plugins

If this is not working in your setup then this may be an indicator of another problem.

To work around the issue, you could add the empty tables required to your installation manually.

In this case please follow the instructions here and copy the code into phpMyAdmin:

    Thanks
