Issue with portfolio categories taxonomy AND relationship

Hello,
I have a big problem with the relationship between portfolio categories taxonomy. I have the pro version.

I need to make an advanced research using only PORTFOLIO CATEGORIES. I have some different fields where the user can choose the category.

example:

Field 1
-category 1
-category 2
-category 3

Field 2
-category 4
-category 5
-category 6

In the Setting&Default > Tags, Categories & Taxonomies > Field relationships I selected “AND”, but when I make the research the results are not right. It shows only the category chosen in the Field 2.

Let me make an example: I choose field 1/category 2 AND field 2/category 5 RESULTS= field 2/category 5

It seems like the last category chosen wins. The different fields don’t work togheter. I want to see only the elements the have all the categories I select in all the fields. Hope this is clear.

Can you help, please? I bought the Pro version only to make the advanced research work…

Hi Irene

The issue here is that you are using the category field multiple times.

You must create custom taxonomies for additional fields – see the docs here for more on this and how to add more fields:
