How can I create a search to select make and model

Hi, I am trying to make a search form similar to the one on https://ultimateoffroad.com.au/

But I only need make and model. I would like it formatted in a similar way.

You need two custom taxonomies then (they cannot be the same taxonomy). One for Make, and one for Model.

Or, you can make Custom Fields (this is what I would do, but it depends if you already have data in a taxonomy).

Do you have many posts already, with data terms already entered?

Thanks Trevor. It’s a new website so I can set up in anyway necessary. The idea is that they select the make first and then will only see the models available to them in the second pop up. Similar to the example I mentioned. I’m a bit stumped as to how to set in up in the plugin. Happy to do custom fields if that is what will work. Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.

To cause the ‘model’ field filter the values based on the selection in ‘make’, in the General Setting tab, set Auto Count (both settings) to ON

And then in the Form UI:

In each field set Hide Empty set to ON
