I’m running Search and Filter and its going working perfect on the normal pages with the shortcodes. I just have a problem with the integration of the regular search function from WordPress.
The normal search function is making an url like: ?s=Example+Search
When I add with the widget a filter to the search.php page, the filter is working but not saving the search term. How to fix this?
If you want that search to send the term to our form … you would use a rewrite of the standard WP search to make it an S&F search, and make sure that, on the search results page, our form has a search box also. There is an example here (this site shown uses a slug name for the search results page, which looks nicer):
