    I have set up a checkbox of items for users when signing up to my site. This data is then saved to their profile.

    I would like to be able to search and filter this new user meta data results on a ‘database’ page. Is this possible?

    The current version of Search & Filter Pro only caches and searches data held in the post and postmeta tables, and not data held in the user table. We are looking at the possibility to extend this to the user table, possibly for V3 (currently in development).

    I see that you now have an Author feature. Can this be used to filter user metadata?

    It does not sorry. It allows the filtering by the of the author of a post only (we use the user ID stored in the author field of the post, and we look up ONLY the user name to show in the field terms list).
