    I just updated the licence for Search & Filter Pro (it was out of date), but I get the following message (after activating the new licence) when trying to update the code to 2.3.0 from 2.2.0;

    An error occurred while updating Search & Filter Pro: Download failed. cURL error 51: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

    Any thoughts?

    The server may have been busy, or your license key was wrong? Check the license key in your account.

    And the try again. If that doesn’t work, you may have to do a manual update using ftp:

    You must NOT update using WordPress, instead follow these manual installation instructions:

    1) Deactivate S&F in WP Admin Plugins page (do not delete, otherwise you will lose your search form)
    2) Via FTP, delete search-filter-pro folder from the wp-content\plugins folder on your server. If you wish to keep the folder, just in case, do NOT rename it, instead move it UP a folder into the wp-content folder.
    3) Unzip the file that you have downloaded.
    4) Upload the search-filter-pro folder to the wp-content\plugins folder on your server.

    Hey Jonathan just a quick one, is your site currently running over https?

    Nope – its just a standard website.

    Hi

    I spoke to another user with the same issue. He reset the license key and then it worked. Maybe you can get your key from your account area and try that?

    Thanks for the step through – I did the manual upload etc., and the new version is in and appears to be working fine.
